About Us
Blithfield Reservoir is a 790-acre lake set in the beautiful Blithe valley. Opened in 1953 by HRH Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, its primary purpose is as a water supply source. However, the reservoir has played host to countless anglers since opening for trout fishing in 1957 and has seen some excellent catches over the years.
Although primarily a trout fishery we do offer opportunities for pike fishing through members days and organised events with the Staffordshire Predator Angling Group. Such events attract some of the country’s top pike anglers and have seen pike of a staggering 41lbs being recorded.
We can also cater for corporate parties to offer a wonderful angling experience that will help to ease the stresses of daily life.
