Blithfield education centre & its surroundings
Blithfield Education Centre is part of the Blithfield Estate and is owned by South Staffs Water.
South Staffs Water is a water only company, supplying treated water to almost 1.29 million customers to large parts of the Black Country and Staffordshire. We are very proud that we are rated one of the highest performing water companies in the UK by our regulatory bodies.
The Education Centre was opened in 1996 by Bill Oddie and is located near Blithfield reservoir in a picturesque woodland setting known locally as Stansley Wood. Since that time, we have welcomed over 30,000 visitors to our Education Centre to learn more about water and environment.
